タイは親日国家である。
王族とのつながりも深く、日本人には住みやすい国の一つだと思う。
反日のどこぞやの国にお金を落とすくらいなら、
親日国でお金を使いたいと切に思う。

僕の住んでいる国は男尊女卑で、外にいる人の90%が男。
しかも、なんだかみんな無駄にぎらぎらしていて濃い。
レストランもみんな男がサーブして、物を投げるなどサービスなんぞありやしない。
しかも、この国の人はマナー悪い。感謝はしない。謝らない。待たない・・・などなど。
女性と接する機会は皆無で、独身には心底つらい。。。

比べて、タイ人は働き者で愛想がよく、ホスピタリティー満点である。（特に女性）
そして、みんなマナーが良く、ストレスフリーな場所である。
しかし、第2次世界大戦で占領されていない国家だけあり、芯はすごく強い。
普段は穏やかだか、怒るとそれはもう悲惨である。
男性は激情して殺人、女性は浮気発覚でアソコを切断という事件がよくある。。。
笑顔・礼節・強さを兼ね備えた民族である。

そんなタイ人を知ってから、タイが大好きになった。
先の震災でも街中で募金をする学生がいたり、
繁華街には、大きな応援メッセージと寄せ書きが立てかけてあるのを見た。
素直にうれしかった。
日本が嫌いな日本人が多くいるのに、
いくつかのアジアの国は日本を好きでいてくれる。
お返しをしたいといつも思うし、その国の人には優しくしたいと思う。
他の親日である台湾・シンガポール・香港でお金を使うこともいいだろうなー。

そんな高尚な理由をつけては、タイで遊んでます。（続）



Thailand is a pro-Japanese country. The both royal families have a long friendship and I suppose one of the best countries for Japanese to live.
The Country I live has a man dominant society and 90% of people in public are men. They are so aggressive and pushy. Waiters in restaurants are male. They don't know so called "service". They throw dishes and table wares which annoys me. Besides the people in this country don't know manners. They don't say Thank you and Sorry, and they don't wait...etc. There is no chance to meet girls. It's really boring for singles like me.

In contrast, Thais are hard workers, friendly and have amazing hospitality. (Especially Ladies) In addition, They have good manners and Thailand is stress-free. But The Thai mentality is very strong which shows Thailand wasn't occupied at WW2. They are very calm, but once they are snapped, it's a nightmare. It often happens that guys murder with uncontrollable anger and Ladies cheated by guys cut their dicks off!! They are the race having great smiles, proprieties and mightiness.

After finding out such Thailand, I came to like it a lot. I saw many students asking for donation for the terrifying earthquake taking place in Japan and huge message boards for praying for Japan in Bangkok. I was just simply happy and moved. Japan has many Japanese who don't like Japan, but some Asian countries love Japan. I've always wanted to give something in return to them and I want to be nice and kind to them such as Taiwan, Singapore, Hongkong, etc.

I make this kind of decent excuses to go to Thailand :p

To The Land Of Smiles ep1

僕が住んでいる国の航空会社は日本との直行便を持っているが、
安全面を考慮して本社から使用が控える通知があったのが、一年半前。
それ以来、日本出張の際には費用面から日系の直行便より経由便を利用している。
赴任の際の条件は日本への月一の帰国だったが、
社長からの約束というものは反故されるのが常で、
現在は3ヶ月くらいに一度の帰国。まだいい方である。
経由地点に一番利用しているのが、微笑み国タイランド。
費用と時間効率がよく、
かつ待ち時間にタイマッサージやタイ料理に舌鼓を打てる
しかも、マイルまで貯められるのが理由である。

お盆休みと日本出張で2週間ほど国外脱出を図った。
帰りはほとんど毎回ストップオーバーをする。
僕の住んでいる街では、
日本食材はまったく手に入らないどころか
肉類・魚介類も流通していない。。。
この国の駐在員はタイかシンガポールに
日本食材を会社負担で買出しに行くことが許されている。
そのため、駐在員は入国の際に
大きいダンボールやスーツケースで食材を密輸する。
見つかっても賄賂を担当者に払えばすんなり通れる。（賄賂大国）
過酷でしょ？

The country I live has direct flights to Japan, but the head office notified me not to use them due to the security concern. It was 1 and half year ago. I've used one stop flights over expensive direct flight by Japanese aviation companies. Before transferring here, my contract was to have business trips to Japan once a month. However, those internal business commitments in Japan are not remain. I go back to Japan once every 3 months, which is not bad.　I usually transit flights to Japan in the land of smiles, Thailand. It's the most time saving and reasonable, and also have Thai food or Thai massages to kill time. Beside, I can save miles!!

I escaped to Japan for 2 weeks for a summer vacation. I always stopover in Bangkok on my way back. The city I live doesn't have Japanese ingredients, and even beef, pork and seafood either. Business people sent from Japan are allowed to visit Thailand or Singapore to buy Japanese food with benefits. They smuggle stuff with big cardboard boxes or suitcases. If you get caught, you can get away with it with bribes. Is it f**king hard to live here?

I make this kind of decent excuses to go to Thailand :p
