My Ever Changing Moods by Style Council

 

日の光が月光に変わり
今は満ち足りた気持ちを得ている
すべての神の御業を称え
この安らぎを見つめたいと思うけれど

暖かさの前に心は冷えて
嵐の後には穏やかさがくる
ここに留まってその心を糧にしたいと思っても
この激情が変わりつづけることを求めている

苦しみが消えて安息がくれば
人々はそれを受け入れろという
でもまだ僕にとっては
少し早すぎる気がするんだ

沈黙の前に口を閉じれば
高ぶりの後に穏やかな時間があると知っている
時の移ろうままに自然でありたいと思っても
この激情が僕をつき動かさずにいられない

涙は子供たちに姿を変えた
僕らが時を逸したその贖いとして
そして誰かの悪しき心の代価を
彼らが支払いつづけるのだろう

憎しみの後に愛があると知っても
僕らの愛にいい逃れは遅すぎる
ある日目覚めのときがきて
皆が動き出すことを望んでいるけれど
でもこの重い日常が僕を落ち着かせてはくれない

悪が偶像となって
人々がその前に列をなす
僕が駆け寄るべき列がほかにあることはわかっている
選択の余地があるならだが…

過去は現在の過ちを教えてくれる
そしてなぜかいつも未来は手遅れになる
自らの意志に辿り着くことを求めながら
結局は真実がないことを知るだけ
僕の常に変わりゆく心を
ゆさぶりつづける人々の中にあって

But we're caught up in the wilderness

To commit the sins they pay for through another's evil mind

I wish we'd wake up one day an' eveyone feel moved
But we're caught up in the dailies

Evil turns to statues and masses form a line
But I know which way I'd run to If the choice was mine

The past is knowledge the present our mistake
And the future was always leave too late
I wish we'd come to our senses and see there is no truth
