昔、友達が遠距離恋愛の話の時に、
”遠くの10より近くの5”理論を説いてくれた。
要するに、遠くにいる大好きな人よりも、
近くにいるちょっと良い人に惹かれていくという人間心理。
海外生活が9年目になった今、この言葉の妥当性をつくづく感じるね
A friend of mine told me about long distance relationships
that He called it "Nearby at 50% than Far away at 100%" theory. In short, you
tend to get more attracted to a nice person living by you who you like a bit
than a person living far away who you like a lot. This is my 9th year to live
abroad. I totally agree with his theory.
