Manila

仕事を兼ねて、アジアの首都を極力見ることにしている。
マニラのマカティは、先進国のビジネス街のような雰囲気であった。
しかし、その地区以外からは、貧しさや治安の悪さを容易に感じ取ることが出来た。

マニラで出会ったのは、少しインド風の顔立ちの"J"。
最初はあまり興味無さそうであったが、
話し続けると人懐っこく、面倒見がいい子であった。
酔っ払ってきたのか、しきりにタガログ語を話す。
タガログ語はスペイン語の影響を受けているので、
いくつかの単語から文脈が推測できた。
感情表現も大きくなってきて、軽く身を寄せ始めた。

「一緒に帰ろうか？」と誘うと、ニコっとうなずいた。
愛おしいと思った。その夜はアジアでラテンを感じた。

I try to look around in capital cities in Asia for business. Malati in Manila is like abusiness area in developed countries. However, I easily got to know other areas have the poor and lack of security by seeing them.

I met "J" with Indian feature in Manila. She seemed not interested in talking to me but I kept talking to her. She began to be friendly and caring. She was getting drunk and started to use Tagalog. Tagalog is influenced by Spanish. I could guess context by Spanish words. She was becoming affectionate and cuddled to me.

I asked her to come over to my hotel. She just nodded with a lovely smile. I felt it was really sweet. She gave me Latin passion in Asia at the night.
